You just need someone to ask
Before you choose, not after
You're facing a decision that's expensive to reverse: a platform, a supplier, a contract, a hire. You don't need a project — you need someone who has built this before and gains nothing from whichever answer you get.
Three questions, then you get a clickable sketch for free.
Sometimes the quickest way to settle a question is to see it. Describe what you're weighing up and you'll get a clickable sketch of it — free, and without anyone calling you afterwards.
The questions that usually come up
It's rarely a technical question
Most people who get in touch at this point ask one of these, and none of them needs an engagement to answer.
Should we build or buy?
There's an off-the-shelf product that does 80 per cent. The question is whether the last 20 is what you actually sell.
Is this quote reasonable?
You have a figure and nothing to compare it with. Often it's possible to say straight away what's missing from it.
Which platform will lock us in?
Most things can be moved later. A couple can't, and those are worth a conversation now.
Should I hire a developer?
Sometimes, yes. But not to finish one thing, and rarely as your first technical person with nobody to review their work.
What do we do with what we already have?
Someone built something for you before. The question is whether it's worth building on or better to start again.
How a conversation works
An answer, not a sales process
01
You describe the situation
Three questions and a few lines. You don't need to prepare a briefing — that's usually the problem in the first place.
02
I answer the same day
In writing, so you can read it again and pass it on to anyone else who needs to be part of the decision.
03
We talk if it's needed
If the question is bigger than an email. It costs nothing and doesn't end in a quote unless you ask for one.
04
Then get in touch whenever you like
Or don't. An answer that helps you choose right without me is a good answer too.
What it costs
SEK 19,900 a month, one thing at a time
A subscription instead of a project: you have one active request on the go, I deliver it, you send the next. Pause when you don't need anything, cancel when you're done. No setup fee and no lock-in.
This step costs nothing. The subscription is there if you later want someone to build it, not for getting an answer to a question.
