What usually decides it.

  • Load time

    How quickly the page appears and becomes usable on an ordinary phone, and what holds it back: images, fonts, scripts.

  • On a phone

    Text, buttons and forms on a small screen. Most of the traffic comes from there.

  • Visibility in Google

    Titles, descriptions, sitemap, robots.txt, structured data, and whether the right page is the one being indexed.

  • What the visitor should do

    Whether the next step is clear, and whether the button, form or booking actually works.

  • Accessibility

    Contrast, headings, alt text, and whether the page can be used with a keyboard.

  • Cookies and consent

    Whether tracking and ad pixels load before the visitor has said yes.
