Background

Vacant rental apartments are spread across marketplaces, housing companies and private landlords, and the good ones go within hours. People searching keep ten tabs open and still miss homes they never saw. bojakt gathers them in one place and says when something matches — with no paywall in front of the contact details, a free tier and cancelling in one click.

What was built

  • A page for every municipality, with variants for room count, first-hand, sublet and no queue
  • Saved searches with filters for a city or all of Sweden, rent, rooms, size, queue time and student housing
  • Alerts weekly, daily or hourly, by email and SMS
  • Map search beside the listing feed, and a badge showing whether you meet a listing's income requirement
  • Landlords publish their own listings with photos, reviewed before they go out
  • Sign-in without passwords: a link by email, a one-time code or Google
  • Subscriptions through Stripe, with three tiers and several billing periods
  • The whole service in Swedish and English, and a blog from its own CMS
  • Internally: a read-only dashboard, a partner API, a support tool with refunds through Stripe
