Everything behind, in one place.
The admin is where Provsvaret runs everything the customers don't see: follows the volumes, receives and forwards samples, uploads results, sets prices per customer and decides how long records may be kept.

every night, what has expired is deleted
Provsvaret's own tool for the daily work.
What it does
- Statistics on orders, lab requests and rapid tests, with charts and export
- Manage lab requests, orders, sample collections and rapid tests, and upload results
- Fill in the lab's request form as a PDF, with a barcode
- Customers, users, the catalogue, analyses and per-customer prices
- Log in as a customer to help them, with every visit logged
- Data retention: rules for how long records are kept, and a nightly job that deletes what has expired
What it looks like.
Illustrations of the real screens, with made-up data. The app handles sensitive data, so no screenshots are shown. The interface is drawn in Swedish, as it is used.
- 01
A lab request, from sample to result
The result is uploaded as a PDF — several files are fine — and the orderer is notified when the first one arrives. The status can be set by hand, and it shows that it was.
- 02
The lab's request, filled in
The lab's own form is filled in from the request, with the barcode drawn as Code 128. Nobody copies anything by hand.
- 03
Prices per customer
Each customer has its own price list. A product without a price doesn't show in that customer's shop.
- 04
Data retention
How long lab requests, rapid tests and bookings are kept is set per customer, with a safety floor nothing younger is deleted before. Before a rule is switched on it shows what it would delete today, and every deletion is logged.
Step by step
- 1A lab request comes in from the portal
- 2The lab's request is downloaded as a PDF with a barcode
- 3The sample is sent to the lab
- 4The result is uploaded, and the orderer is notified
- 5The result is entered per substance
- 6The request is archived as handled
Under the hood
- The PDF is filled in with pdf-lib and the barcode drawn with bwip-js
- Results are stored in Amazon S3 in Stockholm
- Statistics export as CSV, per kind of record
- Every sign-in as a customer is recorded with who did it
